Friday 13th November, 2009

A suicide bomber has attacked a Pakistani spy agency which has been directing a campaign against militants.

The bomb, which had been placed in a pickup truck, killed ten people from the spy force. Another 55 people were wounded.

The target was the Inter-Services Intelligence agency building, which is situated in the city of Peshawar, a place which has seen much violence in the past weeks.

The pickup laden with explosives hurtled toward the building with the bomber able to detonate his payload.

The early morning blast destroyed much of the three-story building.

A wave of bombings over the past week alone has killed more than 50 people in the city.
