Kansas country folk to get broadband

The state of Kansas has been given a $2 million federal grant for a rural broadband program.
The state of Kansas has been given a $2 million federal grant for a rural broadband program.

The Connect Kansas program, developed to fund broadband programs, is aimed at increasing high-speed Internet access across the state.

The Kansas Department of Commerce has said the grant will provide the stimulus for the Kansas government to connect rural communities.

The Kansas grant was announced in November by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration.
