Brady Manek scored a career-high 31 points to lead Oklahoma to an 83-63 win over TCU on Saturday in Big 12 action in Norman, Okla.

Manek, like the Sooners' other top scorers -- Austin Reaves and Kristian Doolittle -- struggled from the field in Tuesday's loss to Kansas.

But Manek came out firing against the Horned Frogs, making 10 of 15 shots overall and 7 of 9 from behind the arc to help Oklahoma (12-5, 3-2 Big 12) snap a two-game losing streak.

The junior forward hit two 3-pointers in the final 3:02 of the first half to help OU extend its lead to 38-26 at the break.

Manek resumed his hot shooting early in the second half, hitting a pair of quick 3-pointers after the break to help the Sooners extend the lead to 49-30.

With the game firmly in control in the final minute, Manek was fouled by Jaedon LeDee and sent to the free throw line.

Not only did the two free throws help Manek set his career high in scoring, breaking a tie with the 29 he scored earlier this season against Texas-Rio Grande Valley, but the shots also put him over the 1,000-point mark for his career. He also grabbed nine rebounds.

TCU struggled offensively from the outside. The Horned Frogs were just 1 of 16 from behind the 3-point line in the first half and finished shooting a season-low 22.2 percent from behind the arc.

No TCU player scored more than Desmond Bane's 12 points. LeDee added 11 off the bench for the Horned Frogs (12-5, 3-2).

Reaves scored 14 points for the Sooners while Doolittle added 11 and De'Vion Harmon had 10.

Oklahoma had 20 assists, its most in a conference game in more than two seasons.

The Sooners led nearly the entire way, taking the lead on Manek's first shot less than two minutes into the game and never relinquishing it.

Oklahoma shot 53.7 percent from the floor, its second-best clip this season.

The Sooners only got 14 points from the bench but Oklahoma's reserves were 5 of 6 from the floor.
