Atlanta Braves shortstop Ha-Seong Kim is set to make his season debut after he was activated off the injured list Monday, while outfielder Eli White was placed on the seven-day concussion IL.

Kim, 30, has been on the mend from surgery in the offseason to repair a torn tendon in his right middle finger. He batted .286 with a .412 on-base percentage in nine minor league rehab games.

In five major league seasons, including his first four with the San Diego Padres, Kim is a career .242 hitter with 52 home runs and 217 RBIs in 588 games. He spent his first seven professional seasons playing in his native South Korea.

White, 31, was injured Sunday when he crashed into the right-field wall while making a spectacular catch on a drive by the Los Angeles Dodgers' Max Muncy. He stayed in the game briefly after making the catch before departing.

White is batting .237 with two home runs and 10 RBIs in 26 games this season. In seven major league seasons with the Texas Rangers (2020-22) and Braves, he is a career .210 hitter with 22 home runs and 77 RBIs in 302 games.
